It's a brand new year! Back from our Japan trip :D

There's tokyo tower!

So we went to Hokkaido first, and i must say, I don't mind living in Hokkaido.

They have huge patches of nothingness, just snow and more snow.

And not forgetting, countless number of hotsprings.

Had many firsts in Hokkaido, Like going for hotsprings and swimming overseas :D

The indoor pool was really fun! And warm. Hahahaha.

3.5 degrees celsius at Otaru?

Hokkaido's cakes are really tasty. Best cake ever :9 No regrets.

I miss the ski resort ): It's the place where i had the most fun at!

Snow tubing + skiing (oh yeah, first time skiing too) + thick snow + snow ball fights + snow angels + snow unicorn (only because we failed at making a snow man) + great food + great room.

Tokyo disneyland was our first stop in Tokyo :D

On the mini coaster! Can you spot weiyi? Hahahahhaa.

Met maiko :D Took lots of purikura and instants :D Happy day.

Finally got to buy stuff at Shibuya 109 :D

Celebrated my mum's birthday at night back at the hotel :D

Had another cake :D I chose it heehee :D Yummy.

My mum got tired after taking pictures w my bro so that's why she was tired to smile properly hahahahha.

I had the most fun taking pictures at Asakusa this time :D

Many pretty flowers around and the sky was a pretty blue that day :D

Had a mega large melon pan too! :D Melon bread i mean hahaha.

It was hot and tasted great. Fluffy!

Tbs was great cause I got to see many Tumbling goods and took ooku purikura :D

Heehee, 500 yen, but yeah once in a lifetime experience.

Many cute kidz there too, weather forcast wannabes.

Today, after going to school to collect the jacket from Van's locker for my bro, I headed to town, finding myself being early for 45 min? Hahahaha that's a first.

Wanted to eat at Eatalian Gourmet Garage but they only had sandwhiches today ):

No pizza nor pasta, so after fleeing, we walked around 313 and finally found Handburger :D

The food was not bad, but I suck at eating burgers w a knife and fork.

And they were having lunch special, so the meal was $8.80++!

So from this, it became,

I don't know why, but was in a really stone mood today. Jesslynn and mel also right! Hahaaha then i got brain freeze from ice creeeeam D:

Roamed around taka, then met Aijia at ion.

Er can rmb what happened after that so yeah tuition and now woooo, tired.

And it worked! I fell asleep immediately ytd! :D

Why haven't I been updating this week?

Well that's because I've gotten busy and my internet has been laggy since monday.

So what's new this week?

First off, I haven't been sleeping well lately.

I find it really hard to sleep at night. So I tried to make myself mad tired by doing more stuff in the day, in hopes of having a good night's sleep by night.

However, it's not workingggg.

Had barely 3 hours of sleep ytd, after trying to sleep at 10. Woke up at 1, and never was able to sleep later.

I'm reeeally tired now, And I'm hoping I will finally sleep well tonight.

Anyone knows any cures for this?

On wed, I decided to follow my mum to work! (Part of the plan to tire myself out)

Made us felt nostalgic, because when I was young, I used to follow my mum to work.

Since kids weren't exactly allowed at work, I waited for my mum at the carrefour near suntec?

I wonder how I managed to spend days there O:

I sort of rmb running around carrefour everyday, playing w the electric organs, touching bikes, looking at barbie, but everyday?

I was a brave girl :D

Then I would wait for my mum to go for lunch tgt, then going back into carrefour to play again while she heads back to work.

Anyway, so for breakfast on wed, We ate Ya Kun! :D I love breaking the egg yolks then dipping the bread in the eggs :D

Then I thought of Minyi, because she said she goes all over the island looking for the best ya kun place. Hahahaha :D

Went to the office, which really looked like a house lol.

It's new so my mum was the only secretary there. I had fun slacking and lazing around actually.

But i guess, I will fail horribly if I were to be an OL (Office Lady)

Hahahaha, but my mum had to run many errands so I followed her around and I got exercise! Mwahahaha. Then went to the Police station to change our address on our ic.

The police dude was really funny, I saw him trying to hide the piece of paper where he drew Pizza and buns on. Hahahaha he was really hungry -__-

So, then my mum wanted to try Koi! So we bought a cup.

Koi is starting to taste sickening. I don't think I'm gna buy another cup of Koi ever again.

And yes, it's so not worth queueing for. But the toa payoh branch has NO queue. AT ALL.

Followed my mum to work again today :)

Rewatched quiz show ytd, watched family guy today :D

And it's been awhile since i needed to Clear history -.-

Oh yeah, and I dyed my hair!

Hahahaha was just looking at an old photo of nino where his hair was brown and freaking awesome.

Asked my mum if I could dye my hair, and didn't expect that she'd agree to it!

So she went to buy red dye (which i was really unsure about initially), and she helped me to dyeeee :D

Now my hair is brownnnn :) At least it isn't that obvious I guess?

Hahahaha I'm excited for Japan oh god.

Saturdayyyy.

Today was tiring! Woke up at 2pm w a horrible muscleache.

Although my mum decided that she's not going to join in the fun w us.

Had budget but super yummy lunch at bugis! I love the food at bugis :9

I had Indonesian black pepper chicken for $3.20, 4 pieces of juwhee quey(sp?) for $1, and soya bean drink for $0.60. Cheap right! :D

I realised that my mum's fashion style is towards the sexy/rock side -.-

It's funny how she'd whine about being too old or fat to wear such clothes.

Hahahaha, and I had Banana milkshake today :D

All in all, happy but tiring. Walking for 6 hours w a muscleache is no joke!

Yup, I finished watching another drama! This is one of Nino's older drama, Minami-kun no koibito, or in English, Minami's Lover. It's really a great show because it's all about sacrifices that you'll have to make in life when countless unimaginable obstacles come in your way. This drama also showed me the childish-yet-mature side of Nino! And yes, this made me cry in almost every episode :B

Here's the sypnosis: Everything started when a high school couple, Chiyomi (Fukada Kyoko) and Minami (Ninomiya Kazunari) had a mysterious and ominous fortune cookie at a Chinese restaurant… "If you stay close to him, he will become great and the two of you will be together for a long time. However, when the two of you drift apart, horrible thing will happen". Just as the prophesy, on the very day when Minami decided to leave Chiyomi, a magical curse struck Chiyomi. Believe it or not, it shrunk her into a size of merely 16 cm tall! What would happen when a tender boyfriend and a miniaturized girlfriend secretly starts living together?

Anyway, I slept at 5 last night -__- This is really bad, I've got to try to sleep earlier from tonight onwards. I only woke up at 2pm today. I think I've set a new personal best hahahaha. And I havent touched my work yet. Oh god, somehow I'm not being productive these days. Will I pull through next yearrrr.

Oh and I just searched on Ghibli Museum and they won't be opened from the 27th onwards! This means we've got to go Lawson's to buy the entrance ticket on Christmas, then go on the 26th? Hahahaha. Our trip is only less than 2 weeks away and yet we haven't plan out our Tokyo itenary yet! And I realised how easy it is to persuade my mum to buy Arashi stuff. I just told her that Van said that they're selling second hand albums and all in some place in Japan at a way cheaper price and she said we could go see and hopefully buy some back heh heh heh. Excitedddd. I hope she stays in a good mood from now till our trip. Oh wait, for ever :)

And I just realised Tsunami, by Southern All Stars it quite a nice song. My mum used to sing it a lot and I thought it was such an oldie. And then Ohno liked it a lot too. And today, Nino sang it in Minami-kun no koibito :)

Yes Doctor Nino, Why is Ohno's heart beating so fast? Heeheehee.

Oh yeah, and one regret I have in life is that I haven't been on a school overseas trip before ): Which kinda sucks cause next year won't be a good time to go on a trip and I won't know what it's like ): All this monologuing is making me think of so many stuff that my brain is about to explodeeee hahahaha.

So cute so cute :D

Ytd night, no matter how i tried to sleep, i just couldn't.

So while flopping in bed, I tried to listen to Arashi so i could sleep.

Then I watched almost all the videos on my phone, but the more I watched, the more awake I felt.

Before I knew it, it was already 7! Since I didn't want to let my mum find out that i didn't sleep for the whole night, I put away my phone and just laid in bed, with the thought of waiting for her to leave for work, then waking up to do other unproductive but spiritually fulfilling activities (like to watch arashi).

And guess what happened within that short 5 minutes. Yes, i fell asleep -__-

I woke up at 1 plus, finding 3 missed calls from Aijia and text spam from her hahaha.

Sorrryyy ): I really wanted to go karaoke ): Damnit.

So moral of the stroy: To fix my sleep cycle or I will miss out of many things in life.

I realised I haven't been typing long chucks of words on this blog in a long whileee.

I think this is because my english deproved hahaha :B And I'm lazy to structure sentences properly.

Or maybe my life isn't interesting enough for me to blog longer sentences -.-

I need to start doing something productive or I'll start rotting.

I wonder what it's like to be super tall, like Ann.

What do I do when my internet crashed for a day?

Well, I rewatched Yamada Tarou for the 462402 time (seriously, I lost count).

And I was yet again mesmerised by this boy!

So today, went to collect my ballet results.

Well, today was another fat day!
Had AV check for op at 12 then off to do GPF filing.

This trip to Shanghai and Japan, I learnt many things:
1. Flying above and through clouds makes me happy beyond words.
Before we boarded the plane, I asked my mum how it's like to fly through clouds.
She told me, " Later you can see."
And I stared really hard for clouds that we flew past!
It's really fun and I love how clouds can be so fluffy :)

2. Never be late for your flight.
We were lucky we didn't have to pay for being late. But the wait was, well a waste of time.
When we could actually be in shanghai shopping, we spent our time looking at planes taking off.
Every single flight of ours was delayed, except for the one we were late for.
Which brings me to the next point.

3. NEVER EVER FLY BY CHINA EASTERN AIRLINE.
The seats were cram, the food was crap (although I had dorayaki),
the toilets were unimaginably smelly, and the people were horribly unhelpful.
Lost iphone and pod aside, the planes always get delayed and on our return flight to Singapore,
After the plane landed, the lights in the plane went on and off,
And they couldn't freaking open the doors -.-
We're just lucky we landed safely.

4. We are all damn lucky we even have money for clothes and food.
In china, I saw the worst sight of my life.
It makes me thankful for being born in Singapore, being borned to a happy and
healthy family.
This man, who was only in underpants, was banging his head on the road.
Till he was bleeding. My heart ached.
We donated some money to him, that was the least we could do.
Some people are really, terrible. They could even say,
"I wonder if it's real."
How about you try banging your head on the road for fun?
This makes me reflect on the way i spent money.
Maybe i should really control myself and not be wasteful.
Next time, I have to earn enough money to help those who are REALLY in need.

5. Japanese are really nice.
Even when they see a packet of things on the train seat, they would
honestly tell the train conductor about it and he would then immediately record it down.
(Unlike the greedy china person who took my pouch)
However, there are definitely a few jap ppl that aren't that nice.
The hotel reception lady for example.
Treated us as if we have no money to pay.
Hello, we are paying customers too alright.
"Cheapest hotel in tokyo"? No! And yet you're not even giving your customers basic service.
If you're in the service line, you jolly well learn some manners.
Sorry for being so critical here, but she even threatened to bring us to the police?
What the shit.

6. Time sales in Takeshita street creates havoc.
Hahaha prices going as low as 1900 yen (About S$30)
My mum went insane picking out clothes to try on and buy.
At least the clothes there are nice and worth buying.
It's so difficult to shop in singapore nowadays.

7. Never fall ill while on a holiday.
You're just wasting your time and money.

8. I reeeeally love travelling :)
I love being a tourist. I love learning how other people live.
I love not having to worry about all the shit I'm about to face.

I think after reading about how technology seem to make relationships less effective,
I've been bothered by some stuff.
The article said, when you are with someone, and you start going on facebook, twitter, text messaging and all.

When you start playing w your phone or going on fb when you are talking or spending time w someone, won't it be awkward?

Okay, so after Gp common test, went to have lunch w Zanthe at Bras Pasar.
There was this new mall that wasn't really fully opened, but the food court was awesome.
Initially when we stepped in, we eyeballed and drooled at the Jap food.
But as we walked in, omggg, food glorious food!
There's was even a stall that sold Mexican food :9
Shall try that another day.
So had a great lunch, ate strawberry milk ice dessert! :D
Talked and realised how scandalous Zanthe's life can be :B
And then we got lost while trying to find our way to bugis.
So we walked backed to bras pasar mrt station.

Fri, Arashi Karaoke!
It was fun, met new friends, and they can really sing omg.
And rapppp. So we spent 15661968901 hours singing till my throat was dry -.-
I think aijia could have went on and on and on. Hahaha.
Huilian and Van came too :D They were loud man. Louder than aijia! Heh.

Sat, went to Operation Smile Carnival @ Dempsey Hill w Aijia (:
It was all right, but it was a terribly hot day.
Huilian was there helping out w AV, and Rachel sold popcorn.
Candy floss was huge, but it kinda got sticky.
I had a great time being a paedophile heeheehee.
On the way back to the bus stop, we decided to take a short cut.
And to walk across this huge patch of grass.
Then Aijia had to scare us by saying there could be snakes in tall grasses.
So we screamed and ran all the way omg. Hilarious.

I got giddy halfway but i guess it was productive.

Today, i had no one to talk to abt nino nor arashi. How awesome.

So first day of school, super nervous.
In rj, there's only the 3 of us from st margs.
Meow, and both kareen and zhi jun taking physics chem math and econs.

Mm, first person to talk to me was Kah Jin, hahaha.
Although we were from the same primary school, we were never in the same class before.
So i found it amazing he could recognise me.
We watched a skit performance or some sort, The Storyline :D
